Release for Access to Online Grading:
You acknowledge that you are giving your permission to the Computer Science department to store your grades on a networked computer accessible on the Internet, understanding that the sole purpose is to report those grades to you.  You understand that access to the grades will be protected by a password of your own choosing so that they are accessible only to you, based on the security of the password You choose.  You also understand that the systems are secured and monitored, but security risks still exist; you agree that you understand these risks and accept them.  You agree that the Computer Science department is not liable for any breach of this security, accidental or otherwise, that might lead to your grades being available to others.  Finally, You also understand that the grades are only for the current course and only for the current semester, and that the official final grade may vary due to an individual instructor's choice to apply a "curve" or make other adjustments to the grade weights.

Release for Grades via Email Correspondence:
You acknowledge that you are giving your permission to your instructor(s) to include grade information, including scores, comments, and other annotations, in correspondence via your Arkansas State University email address.  You understand that this information is being provided as a courtesy to you and that grade information will be sent only as a means for returning class assignments or when such information is specifically requested by you.  You agree that you have been advised of and accept any security risks that go along with the email transmission of your grades.  You agree that the Computer Science department is not liable for any breach of security, accidental or otherwise, that might lead to grade information from your email account being made available to others.
